Ama Casa Siracusa welcomes you by welcoming you in a relaxed and serene atmosphere, its Contemporary Design combines the needs of those who travel both for business and for the pleasure of discovering the beauty that the city of Syracuse and the whole Sicily offers.

Ama Casa Siracusa stands in a strategic location in the city center, exactly opposite the "Shrine of Our Lady of Tears," the church was erected in memory of the miraculous tearing of a plaster effigy depicting the immaculate heart of Mary; today a destination for many pilgrims who come from all over the world to offer a prayer.

Just south of the shrine is the "Archaeological area of Victory Square," excavated between the 1970s and 1980s, which has yielded numerous artifacts, exhibited at the "Paolo Orsi" Archaeological Museum; the latter is located just a few meters from our accommodation. The museum is one of the leading archaeological museums in Europe.

Another historical place that is in the vicinity of the B&B is the famous "Greek Theater" located within the important "Neapolis Archaeological Park," built in the 5th century BC, recognized as the real attraction of Syracuse. The Archaeological Park contains masterpieces from both the Greek and Roman periods.

Nearby the Neapolis Park also stands the famous "Tomb of Archimedes."

Among the thousands of beauties of Syracuse, some mentioned above, let's not forget the enchanting "Ortigia Island" now the pride of the Syracusans and become a World Heritage jewel.

The island of Ortigia is within walking distance, and is a blind 1  km from the Ama Casa Siracusa B&B.
